Working Mom, Lifesavers
We as parents work hard to live, survive and secure our kids future. However, it is extremely challenging for parents to go to work and take care of their children at the same time. An I give so much respect for those parents and single parents who work and go to school and parent simultaneously, they are the true champions. It’s hard, very complicated, challenging and difficult, because we have to take care of our kids needs and secondly it’s very difficult to concentrate when your child is needs attention 24 hours a day.
I have been blessed enough to be a 100% dedicated to stay at home mom, meaning all eyes and attention to my son, 24/7. And I get only about 3 to 4 hours of sleep daily, if I am lucky. Taking care of your child 24 hours a day will drain anyone and for sure drains me fully.
Look, I have autoimmune disease, called Dermatomyositis (muscle inflammation) and the pain I endure every single hour of the day is insane, no painkillers of any sort, a disease that has no cure and is rare, and not even that has stopped me from giving full undivided attention to my son. This was a choice I made, and I am loving it all. Regardless, I am a workaholic and always been. And, I found that trying to accomplish anything outside my son is almost impossible, but… hang in there, I am learning as I go and I have figured a way of getting a few hours of work for my businesses a day. And all this in thanks to a few lifesavers we have for our sons entertainment.
Children are highly intuitive and love figuring stuff out, they love being entertained and love feeling accomplished through their many senses. And my son is no exception to this.
These are my lifesavers, my little helpers, my little babysitters that keep my son entertained for a few hours while I work.
Television, which I said I would never turn on for my child, well… it’s very helpful and I only play certain kids programs, I would not survive without it. And the little toys shown below are my lifesavers and great investment from our experience.
